ARTHOUSE GAMES FOR ARTHOUSE CINEMAS

GAMERAUSCH is a curatorial format at the intersection of cinema and gaming culture. Through regular events, GAMERAUSCH screens selected video games on the big screen and contextualizes them through discussions with guests from the worlds of culture, academia, and game development. The format views games as cultural works and creates a collective space for experiencing and discussing them together.

From 2025 to 2026, GAMERAUSCH is part of Futura Cinema’s Incubation Program. With partners such as A MAZE / Berlin, the Berlin Computer Game Museum, and the Doxumentale film festival, it is part of a growing network connecting digital narrative forms to event formats.
